On behalf of Lighthouse Community Church, and Intentional Gatherings we would like to thank you for making the 1st annual “Art-n-the Park” possible. This event was merely a dream a few months ago, but Saturday it became a reality. Without you and all of your help, this event could not have taken place. We are so grateful for your support. Please know that God was answering our prayers through the obedience of His followers who helped provide for this event. From lending grills, generators, and food, to giving your time serving the “least of these”, you played an important role in the success of “Art-n-the Park” 2008. Our prayer was that God would be at the forefront of everything that took place this past Saturday. As we watched hungry people eat a satisfying meal and saw the smiles on kid’s faces as they jumped around in bounce houses, we could not help but recognize the presence of the living God. Relationships were built on Saturday. These relationships will be pursued and developed over this next year, and into the future. This is the sole purpose of “Art-n-the Park”: that we would not simply feed some people and have a fun day, but that the love of Christ would be displayed through His followers. That love is not a one-time love, but a consistent and unconditional love. This was the start of something beautiful in the lives of many. We learned a lot, and cannot wait for “Art-n-the Park” 2008! Once again, we are so grateful that you were able to be a part of this event and we're excited to team up with you all again next year to see more miracles take place. Thank you for everything.
